World Social Work Day takes place on 21 March 2023. The theme this year is 'Respecting diversity through joint social action'. World Social Work Day is an opportunity to celebrate and highlight the achievements of the social work profession and to thank and show appreciation for the hard work and dedication of all social workers across the globe.
Celebrating our Team Ceredigion Social Workers!
Our social workers do exceptional work for the most vulnerable in our communities, demonstrating compassion and empathy on a daily basis. We have a range of social work roles in Ceredigion. They support adults, children, and young people across a range of specialist areas. Each provide support to individuals and families through the most challenging of times, safeguarding the vulnerable from harm, and ensuring all receive the right level of intervention to empower them to lead happy lives.
World Social Work day falls within Social Work Week, a wider series of events designed to raise awareness of the vital contribution made by social workers. In recognition of this we will be celebrating and acknowledging the extraordinary work of our Team Ceredigion social workers through various channels throughout the week! Keep a look out on Ceri Net, Facebook and LinkedIn!
